Network Security Support Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Network Security Support Engineer in support of our enterprise networking and cloud solutions client based in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC). Make an impact, be a part of world-class support by becoming a part of the Security team.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field A current Cisco Certification CCNP and/or relevant Security certification 3 to 6 years of practical experience in configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, and securing networks Understanding of security protocols: SSL, IPSE, ACL, and security policies Working knowledge of software programmability, automation, orchestration and/or virtualization Excellent teamwork skills are a must Successful candidates should have strong written, verbal and listening skillsWe're looking for team members who: Enjoy engaging with customers to provide the best Customer Experience Have been impactful using their technical training and experience in a Support Engineer role Work challenging network and security problems which require strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills Know how to utilize moderate to complex lab setups to recreate and solve problemsDesired Skills: Experience working with Linux/OSX operating systems Experience with VMware Familiarity with Network proxies Experience managing/deploying network security (ACLs, listing/listing) Experience deploying/supporting Windows applications and/or AV in a business/enterprise setting Technical expertise with at least one of the following products is highly desired: AMP, Firepower, ThreatGrid, Umbrella, ESA, WSA, SMAKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
