Technical Skills:
- Production support including resolution of complex technical issues, provide expertise in partnership with application teams, vendor applications and infrastructure partners.
- Responsible for the continual update and maintenance of applications and systems, including routine updates, vulnerability remediation, capacity assessments and technology refreshes.
- Lead the resolution of complex issues to meet established service level agreements.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex computer application problems or restore service.
- Respond to monitoring s, troubleshoot to root cause during failures.
- Managing and execution of change events, including enhancements, upgrades and patching.
- Strategically analyze complex business problems and develop solutions, including designing and creating solutions to problems.
- Partner and collaborate with Enterprise business partners and technology teams
- Act as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting.
- 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
- 5+ years of Red Hat Linux or UNIX experience
- 5+ years of distributed servers platform experience
- 3+ years of Middleware experience in Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere etc.
- 3+ years of Web Server experience in NGINX, Apache etc.
- Knowledge of network systems including F5, route traffic through subnets, virtual network gateways etc.
- 2+ years of Splunk, AppDynamic experience
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 2+ years of ServiceNow experience
- Knowledge and understanding of technology development: high-availability and high-volume transaction processing systems
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- Knowledge of Java, software lifecycle release tools (UDeploy, Subversion, Github), workflow tools, or other experience in application support.
