RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Full Stack Engineer- React, Java, Node in Durham, North Carolina (NC).Summary:We are looking for a software engineer to build new platforms and products as well as working with existing legacy code to build new features to meet business requirements in the IT security field. You will work closely with other team members on technical issues and complex problems and take ownership of application development and design.Responsibilities include: Design and implement complex, multi-layer, scalable web based and client/server applications Work with offering/product owners and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, specs and create automated functional and unit tests Full Stack Engineer will create technical designs for application features and documentation Actively develop, implement, and further software development, testing, deployment, and operational usage best practices Full Stack Engineer will investigate problems with software applications, diagnose root causes, and work on fixing them Engage with technical support teams to assist in resolution of day-to-day technical and operational issues including defect management, vulnerability management, data migration, and cyber-security Full Stack Engineer will collaborate with team members and stakeholders on project estimation and planning Effectively and clearly communicate with individuals in various levels of the businessREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or directly related field or equivalent experience Familiar with Agile development, operating systems, hypervisors, scripting languages, network configuration tools, DevOps environments, and the concept of integrated systems management Intermediate or expert understanding of web markup languages such HTML and XHTML Intermediate or expert understanding client-side scripting such as ReactJS and JavaScript frameworks NodeJS Intermediate understanding of programming languages like Java, Scala, Golang or Python Intermediate or expert understanding of SQL Familiar with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2, MySQL/MariaDB, Postgres, etc.) as well as NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.) Proficient understanding of Git source code repository Familiar with Linux operating systems (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, etc.) Familiar with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems Familiar with issue tracking systems (Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps Boards, etc.) Familiar with scripting languages (e.g., shell scripting, python, Perl, etc.) Familiar with configuration automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible and Terraform) Familiar with virtualization technology or container technology (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift) Familiar with developing applications requiring internationalization and localizationKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
