Job DetailsWe are looking for a Enterprise Architect with extensive experience in object-oriented software design, demonstrated technical leadership, interpersonal skills, and a structured approach to identifying and providing solutions/roadmaps for key technical issues in the areas of software development, software maintenance, software deployment in a distributed environment. This role will lead complex projects and ensures the success of enterprise-level application rollouts. This role will communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies. This role must have extensive knowledge and experience with driving DevOps practices and transforming culture from traditional development models.Job Duties:

• Translate customer requirements and high-level architecture into detailed design for developers.
• Develop component and service designs for Telematics solutions of medium to high complexity
• Collaborate effectively with other Architects to solve cross solutions problem spanning their respective areas and resolve technological disagreement with informed, rational solutions
• Assure application runtime environments stay current on supported software; develop mitigation plans to assure steady state of customer business systems.
• Provide guidance and guidelines of technical development environment, developer tools and operating systems.
• Work cohesively with Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Test Specialist during all project phases to specify software changes.
• Responsible for producing design artifacts including high-level and detailed software design documents, database schemas, and system workflows.
• Establish and enforce consistent use development standards, design models, code reuse.
• Conceptualize, launch, and drive solution strategies (products, COTS, infrastructure components) and multi-year roadmaps
• Identify changes that make the system(s) more efficient and/or reduces operation or maintenance costs.
• Driving adoption of automation and CI/CD technologies and practices
• Ensuring secure design of AWS environments
• Working with developers to promote agile and DevOps practices

Ideal Background:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, 2+ years of enterprise architecture experience
• AWS cloud native software development experienced including AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK
• Experience with high volume transaction or messaging systems (using Kinesis and Kafka ideally)
• Background in .NET or Java development, either would be fine at this level
• Knowledge of Object-oriented and Domain-driven design principles.
• Knowledge of relational database design principals and performance optimization
• Experience with high volume data processing environment, Cloud, serverless compute, micro-services, Oracle, MongoDB, Postgres
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science
