RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client is seeking to hire a DevOps Engineer/Platform Engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC).Summary:Our client strives to connect their customers to superior communications and entertainment products with the highest quality service. This role is more than just DevOps and is like a platform engineer but also with the key priority being our CI/CD Pipelines. We have re-architected our environments for our new platform and need to onboard a resource to champion and administer these changes.Responsibilities include: Architect and build continuous delivery automated pipelines for a suite of microservices DevOps Engineer/Platform Engineer will create and manage the engineering build and deployment process across all environments Contribute to team improvement initiatives and projects, including testing tools, process improvements, and test automation to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability, and performanceREQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of software development, DevOps, or platform engineering experience Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), developing cloud-native solutions with excellent problem-solving skills Experience with source control management practices and tools, preferably with Gitlab Deploying cloud infrastructure using one of the following IaC frameworks: Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and AWS ECS Strong scripting skills (Node, Bash, Python) with the ability to develop tooling Experience implementing and working with monitoring and logging solutions like Splunk, Sentry, CloudWatch Experience working in a Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments Engineering best practices related to CI/CD, compliance, testing, and scalability Strong communication skills are a must along with having the ability to collaborate well with othersKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
