API Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an API Developer in Charlotte, NC.Responsibilities: API Developer will work in an Agile/Scrum delivery model and perform duties in a manner consistent with a complex, diverse, dynamic hardware and software environment that serves a complex education community Develop data movement applications that are both efficient and scalable Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines, and governance for data movement applications Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction As an API Developer, you will articulate ideas and demonstrate a willingness to bring new ideas to the forefront frequently Maintain excellent knowledge base of industry trends and developments Stay apprised of latest technologies and innovations in web application technologies Supervise and direct staff as assigned; Participate in recruiting and staff performance reviews as assignedREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ETL, data modeling, memory management, service oriented development and testing Demonstrated progressive experience in front-end developmentTechnical Requirements: Mastery of modern data technologies, including Python, Pyspark, Pandas and Docker Must show experience in AWS skills such as: Lambdas, Glue, EKS, MSK, Step Functions, and Cloud WatchKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
