We are looking for an innovative and passionate Sr. Director of Media Engineering whose focus is on streaming and OTT!

Job DetailsOur streaming team is seeking a Senior Director of Media Engineering to help design, drive and implement high performance media stream and ad tech services for OTT. These are the services and APIs that power our video streaming platforms. This team handles OTT streaming and works closely with other engineering teams: client apps, cms, data, and DevOps.

• Experience with GraphQL, REST, gRPC, distributed architectures,
• Familiarity with various programming languages and frameworks: NodeJS, Golang, PHP, Python, etc.
• Experience with real world high scale client/server interactions in consumer applications
• Ability to design, document, communicate and guide the team to success
• 10+ years combined experience as a software developer, manager
• Completely current and hands-on grasp of distributed software
• Ability to build, grow, cultivate a great team. We will be hiring more engineers to these teams
• Design, implement and manage teams developing services and APIs (new and existing)
• Ability to guide a team towards best practices, to mentor developers, to achieve results
• Experience with building high-scale, high performance consumer platforms
