Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Software Engineer in New York City, New York (NY).Responsibilities include: Engineer new business-led content management features with an emphasis on performance and user experience Software Engineer will perform maintenance and bug-fixes to support existing functionality Provide engineering, application support to partners, and is ensuring a high level of application availabilityREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience 2+ years of applicable work experience Familiarity with any MVC framework Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles Experience using Typescript or Javascript frameworks Worked with agile processes Knowledge of Symfony Framework Experience with cloud architecture, ideally on AWS Familiar with composer package management and Twig templating engine Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes Exposure to popular proprietary or open-source CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, Jumla, Magento Knowledge of SQL and popular open source RDBS and search technology such as Solr/Elasticsearch Familiarity with using version control systems such as Git Enthusiasm for learning new frameworks and languages Excellent written and verbal communication skillsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
