Security Analyst (Sec Ops)

MDMS is recruiting for a Junior Security Analyst for a financial firm in NYC. You will help drive enterprise-wide security by monitor security tools and logs, working on incident management initiatives, create and maintain security guidelines and operating procedures, provide cybersecurity training, assist in vendor selection and onboarding, assist in risk identification, and participate in vulnerability management projects. Requirements:- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity.- Hands-on experience working with security tools, vulnerability scanners, IPS/IDS tools, anti-malware tools, network security tools, and/or access control tools.-Knowledge of security policies and best practices; as well as security frameworks and regulations.-Information Security and GRC certifications are a plus (ex: SANS, GIAC, CISA, CISSP, etc.).-Bachelors in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
