Diversity & Inclusion
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are three of WellBeing Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine’s core values. These are at the heart of the way we and our staff will practice medicine. They also reflect the way we will run the practice. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, racism is a social determinant to physical and mental health. As healthcare providers, we believe confronting institutional racism must involve implementing new approaches rather than relying solely on the same old practices that have allowed racism within medicine to persist and thrive.
