Job DetailsThe Project Engineer is responsible for working closely with sales staff, engineers, architects, consultants, construction managers, diverse manufacturers, and to understand manufacturing processes to produce the requested design for interior projects.Essential Functions:Interpretation of architectural details and drawingsEffective drafting of designs for installations and fabricationResponsible for ordering materials required for fabrication and installationsProject managementEffective communication in both technical and business operational terms (oral and written)Field measuringProduce effective hand sketches of existing conditions and proposed installationsAccurate data entryKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to fluently manipulate AutoCAD (strong AutoCAD experience required)Preferred experience in Inventor and/or VaultRead and understand Architectural Shops DrawingsAdvanced Excel skillsHand tool knowledgeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessionalism in a team-oriented organizationWillingness and ability to learn and growTechnically adeptHighly accurate in mathematical skills, data manipulation and technical draftingAbility to communicate effectively orally, in written form, and in graphics (shop drawings)Experience & Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Engineering or Architecture)Window industry experience a plusMetal Panel /Slab Cover experience a plusCurtain Wall experience a plus3D Drawing ability a plusArchitectural faade experience a plusInterested in hearing more?
