New Era Technology is a global IT integrator with 2,500+ employees delivering Collaboration, Cloud, Data Networking, Security, Large Venue, and Corporate AV and Managed Service Solutions to more than 9,000 customers. We currently have a need for a Project Manager supporting a Global Network Infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in an enterprise network environment. Global Financial Services, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.Responsibilities:
- Managing network upgrades and implementations projects.
- Managing network related projects associated to merger and acquisition activities.
- Establish and maintain project communications with the customer point of contact.
- Generate and maintain the project plan.
- Coordinate establishment of the project environment to include: communication & escalation paths and problem resolution methodology.
- Schedule resources, both internal and external.
- Management of onsite support personnel.
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the infrastructure and customer project teams.
- Management of all project financials. This includes tracking and reporting of revenue and expenses and project billing.
- Project monitoring and closing activities; reporting of results to senior management.
- PMP Certification desirable.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience managing mid to large sized projects with Cisco Network Hardware.
- Experience in delivering services to customers with a track record of exceptional results.
- Ability to communicate internally and externally on all levels and through all mediums.
- Ability to apply project management principles, processes and tools to effectively manage projects.
- Good overall understanding of technology from a LAN/WAN perspective.
- End user focused, service oriented.
- Able to gather requirements from any area (end-user, engineering, operations, deployment etc.) and clearly communicate to all interested parties.
- Strong presentation skills for presenting to Senior Management and Steering Committees.
- Very strong verbal and written communications.
