Requirements - Experience in high scale, distributed systems- Experience in caching including technologies like REDIS, Memcache, or in-memory caching- Experience building out monitoring dashboards with data providers like datadog and aws cloudwatch- Experience in AWS- Experience building and deploying backend services in a production environment- Understanding of source control concepts and exposure to Git- Experience with build and deployment technologies such as Jenkins and Docker- Experience with Java- 3+ years experience in software development Nice to have - Experience in Scala- Experience with Golang- Experience in functional programming- Experience with Cats Effect/Tagless Final- Experience in cache invalidation- Experience in service mesh- Experience in circuit breaking and reactive systems Job focus:Tier-1 highly available service that fulfills requests to playback media at global scale supporting millions of users OK to not have explicit Scala experience on these 2 Backend roles.
