- Oversees a DevOps environment (including both tools and processes) focused on automation and collaboration to facilitate product release management.
- Ensure high uptime for existing production deployments.
- Manage the team monitoring custom cloud applications (deployed using CloudFormation, administrated with Kubernetes) using industry standard tools.
- Guide the integration engineering team in developing an enterprise API layer that provides standard integrations to Epic, Salesforce, and other systems.
- Manages the enterprise's Epic AppOrchard presence.
- Assists with the design and implementation of Epic integrations.
- Documents designs, issues, solutions, tips & tricks as needed.
- Foster a cross-functional, team approach to software development and delivery.
- Manage the IT DevOps budget, including software subscriptions, personnel resources, and third-party service contracts.
- Stays current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.
- Support release packaging and deployment.
- Assess opportunities for application and process improvement.
- Research and evaluate a variety of software products.
