Role/Title IT Application Developer III / IBM MQ Architect/ Senior IBM MQ DeveloperLocation New York New York 10286 - Remote Duration : 12 months with Temp to hireThis project has Senior person who provides the high-level architectural design stuffs.The thing which is being implemented messaging infrastructure in IBM MQ.Specifically using published subscribed Messaging model.Looking for the resource who can provide architectural design for the messaging model across the MQ.Knowledge working in large environment is preferable.Python nice to have.Skills: Heavily IBM MQ product exp, focused on published subscribed messaging, messaging general architectural experience is required. Someone who has the experience and can felicitate the whole process in designing.Responsibilities:• Design and implementation of an MQ pub/sub messaging bus on an MQ Appliance platform.• Working with application development teams providing guidance on MQ APIs and working with topics.• Troubleshoot MQ issues, working with internal BNYM teams and external vendors.• Adhere to the banks middleware standards and governance including MQ and API administration and utilization.• Perform strategic analysis and design of MQ infrastructure and makes recommendations on improvements and/or new systems required to meet business needs and future capacity.• Performance and functional testing of messaging products and solutions.• Prepare and maintain professional documentation required to run and maintain the environment.• Partner with the business, production services and application development teams to implement messaging solutions.Requirements:• Administering and supporting IBM MQSeries on distributed and/or Mainframe platforms.• JMS Based messaging Implementations. - MUST HAVE• Performing Architecture/Engineering role on large scale Banking Messaging eco-systems.• Architecture/Design of large pub/sub solutions on MQ.Desirable:• MQ Appliance.• Python (or similar) - nice to have• Software provisioning and/or configuration management tools (experience with Ansible particularly desirable)• Performance testing and tuning.
