Description There is an opening for a Desktop Support Technician at Robert Half, for candidates with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format. This Desktop Support Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity based in the Pittsford, New York, area.How you will make an impact- Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions- Administer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Develop records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals Requirements - Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals- Desktop support or related experience- navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
