The Energy Program Manager is responsible for providing oversight for local energy programs designed to work to inform residents, multifamily owners, and small businesses (with an emphasis in low-to-moderate income and priority communities) of the options for adopting clean energy strategies in their homes and businesses. The Manager supervises a team of educators and ensures robust and sustained program participation; serves as an influential advisor and consultant, and helps build and maintain tactful, diplomatic relationships with local, state, county, and federal governments, NYSERDA, partner organizations, and key elected officials; and remains current on emerging energy issues sharing this information as a subject matter expert for constituent audiences.
