Role -Technical Business AnalystThis is a contract to hire role. Candidates must be able/willing to convert to a full time employee with no restrictions.Location: Please note that the resource will be required to work onsite in the NYC (Hudson Yards) office 2-3 days per week.Must have SQL Project experienceJob Description:
- Proficient in gathering and analyzing the Business Requirements, documenting System Requirement Specifications, Functional Requirement Specifications
- Primarily responsibility will be to analyze large amount of SQL/ Stored Procedures on legacy system, reverse engineer the logic, document as data mapping, pseudocode or other BA artifacts.This extracted logic from legacy system should be helpful for design and solution on new datahub done by other resources. (Should have very good SQL/ Analytical skills/documentation skills
- Fairly good knowledge/understanding in the following business domain areas needed: Investment, Asset management, Trading Platform, Holdings, Positions, Securities, Pricing.
- Liaising between Business users and Systems for all project stages
- Scheduling and coordinating regular project working group meetings
- Created UI Designs, Data Flow diagram and Process Flow diagrams using MS Visio.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the project team to identify their key areas of risk and develop their risk management strategies.
- Ensure that development is adhering and following organizational business rules and organizational structure.
- Identify gaps in requirements and managed feedback and control monitoring of project change requests.
- Led Functional, Integration, Regression and UAT Testing to ensure all business processes are covered.
- Tracking project issues and requested enhancements in JIRA.
- Perform Root Cause analysis on each bug/issue logged in JIRA.
- 5-10 years experience in an Investment Banking and/or Asset management domain
- Project Management Experience (Good to have)
- Good analysis and reconciliation skills (must have)
- Both detail-oriented and 'big picture' skills are essential (must have)
- Good understanding of system workflows and processes (must have)
- Technical experience exposure includes SQL server, SSRS reports, Stored Procedures, T-SQL (must have)
