The Rio Grande Center for Spiritual Living is seeking an Office Manager for its active, vital community. Prerequisites:

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Previous background as an administrative assistant or office manager.

- Familiarity with QuickBooks and a willingness to learn.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other similar programs.

- Excellent collaborative skills and the capacity to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Adult Ed-

- Coordinate with Adult Ed Team, Instructors, IT, & Bookstore.

- Set up events & funds in Breeze when classes/workshops are planned. Post notices around the center.

- Track attendance during class duration in Breeze.

- Post class info on Google Calendar.

- Close out classes/workshops when finished, including paperwork, required signatures, and distributed (with funds) as needed. Distribute certificates when they arrive.

Bookstore-

- Receive & enter inventory into Bookstore Point Of Sale (POS) system.

- Weekday sales.

- Prepare End Of Month (EOM) reports & consignment check payments.

- Assist bookstore staff as needed with inventory or other items as needed, including training in use of the POS system.

Office Administration-

- Organize, support & coordinate various office systems/communications between groups & people as needed. Update

Google Calendar as needed for various center events.

- Maintain Breeze Database.

- Keep track of & purchase various office & program supplies.

- Monitor center & equipment for maintenance & repairs.

- Serve customers as needed via phone, email or in person, keeping office open during office hours.

- Financial: Keep Breeze updated with PayPal, QB & United Way contribution entries. Keep expenses & income updated in QB, Prepare & communicate weekly AP to BOT.
