Database Engineer-AWS/Python

Skills and Competency 1) Familiar with Data solution using AWS services (specifically EMR, S3, Redshift, RDS) 2) Experience with one or more RDBMS platforms (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Hive QL) 3) Conversant with Metadata driven architectures 4) Experience in a Data Warehouse or Data Lake model 5) Experience in Risk Domain in Financial (Plus) 6) Excellent written and oral communication skills 7) Test driven development and qualify focused mentality 8) Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills 9) Thoroughness; detail-orientation Design, Develop, Implement, and Support subject area Infomarts Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across from EDP to downstreams Optimize usage of Infomarts to provide superior performance to users and downstreams Provide problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of data to develop business intelligence integration designs Work with business users to translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment Experience working with Agile teams and JIRA Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems in order to meet business solutions
