Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Lead Business Analyst – Digital Products for a position in Las Vegas, NV. This will be a permanent, contract, or contract to hire – hybrid opportunity.
SummaryThe Lead Business Analyst’s role is to assess upcoming projects, specifically for the digital products team which oversees the web and mobile platforms. This is a high visibility role as you will interact with executives and stakeholders from casino, hotel, restaurants, and nightlight.Work with product owners to understand and analyze business objectives and need to formulate ideas and action plans. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the product team determine which projects have the best potential to initiate and build. You will be responsible for generating and compiling reports and requirements documentation based on the findings.Responsibilities- Work with decision makers, product owners, and end users to assess new product opportunities.
- Conduct research, gather and analyze data on user needs, market trends, competitors, vendors, new technologies and software to justify recommendations.
- Lead product team’s efforts to define, validate, and document business and technical requirements.
- Create dashboards, visualizations, and specs to ensure documentation is clear.
- Assist with project management (e.g., ensure successful product deployment with staff and end user training).
- Work with product owners to convert roadmap features into smaller more concise user stories.
- Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed solutions.
- Work with UX designer to coordinate and perform user tests to gather feedback.
- 5+ years’ work experience within a product or technology organization on web and mobile projects.
- Ideally previous experience within the casino or hospitality industries.
- Proven experience gathering and creating business requirements and specs and seeing a product through to launch.
- Excellent research and problem-solving skills with extensive practical knowledge of data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated with ability to prioritize and execute tasks.
- Strong customer service orientation.
