Senior Mainframe Assembler

Role : Sr Mainframe AssemblerLocation : Omaha, Nebraska (Day 1 Onsite)Duration: Long Term ContractBill Rate: $75/hr max.Job Description:• Senior Mainframe developer with good hands-on Project Development using Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and Assembler.• Well versed with ISPF command, Utilities, IOF, CA7, Endevor, File-aid/File-master, SPUFI, REXX• Exposure on incident management/change request management tools.• Exposure on any of the debugging tools for both batch and online environment(e.g. Xpeditor, abend aid)• Assembler and CICS knowledge are mandatory.• Working knowledge on SCRUM model/JIRA handling• Experience in doing impact analysis, design document creation, change release, deployment, monitoring and estimation.• Complete understanding of SDLC cycle• Willing to get involved in Peak season Monitoring, weekend support, Release Monitoring and Production support.• Strong knowledge in developing and implementing Online Issuer Authorization applications, payment processing.• Lead developer in Associates and Issuer mandates and enhancements. • Should involve in code reviews, testing and implementing the projects and perform post implementation validation.
