In Home Personal Caregiver

We are looking for in-home caregivers for my brother, who sustained a brain injury 15 years ago and lives in Omaha with my parents. He is dependent for daily activities and needs 24 hour care. You are contracted through the state but will work for my brother in his home.

He drives an electric wheelchair (with a lot of assistance) and uses a sit to stand lift for mobility around the house. He needs assistance with getting in/out of bed, showering, brushing teeth, dressing, going to the bathroom, completing range of motion and exercising, and all other daily needs. Even though he is dependent he is not hard to care for and is VERY easy going. It is not all work! We like to take Tom to movies, concerts, Creighton games, out for dinner, on walks, and lots of other fun stuff!

The hours work in 3 shifts a day. Currently hours are the same for every day of the week/weekend (Sunday through Saturday) and are 8-12:30, 12:30-5:30, and 5:30-10:00 and are not adjustable.

In order to work for my brother you MUST have your CPR certification, have reliable transportation/be able to drive, and you must be able to work at least two weekend shifts a month.
