RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is looking for Site Reliability Engineers to come aboard a contract to hire opportunity with one of our top Fortune 25 clients in Saint Louis, MO.Responsibilities: The Site Reliability Engineer will research and remediate security vulnerabilities on Windows, Linux servers and implement fixes Work with development teams on remediation of code vulnerabilities and use of code vulnerability scans/reports Work with team to design/build automation of patching The Site Reliability Engineer will assist in tying in code scans with deployment pipelines (Harness/Gitlab) to ensure major vulnerabilities never get deployed to begin withREQUIREMENTS: Cloud certification is a plus Windows, Linux or Software Development experience (at least one required) Proactive/positive attitude (looking for the right personality first/foremost); Will interface with development groups on remediation of vulnerabilities so strong people skills are a must Previous experience/understanding of Security Vulnerabilities (take a CVE identifier, research the security risk, research mitigation strategies, and lead effort to mitigate and close the vulnerability) Must have previous experience in security vulnerability remediation either in a systems engineer or software development rolePreferred Skills/Experience: Previous experience in software development / code deployment/deployment pipelines Previous SRE experience supporting servers running Java stack (JBoss, Tomcat, Weblogic, SQL DB backend) Understanding/SRE experience supporting containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, Other) or Cloud experience)Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
