Senior Programmer Analyst - Java

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst - Java in Saint Louis, MO.Responsibilities: Senior Programmer Analyst will develop next generation solutions to replace legacy batch systems Develop REACT and MVC web applications Develop enterprise REST services Work with product owner and solutions architect to develop detailed designs Responsibilities include story grooming, designing, coding, and completing the development lifecycle through implementation As a Senior Programmer Analyst, you will provide system support, including on-call rotation, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to other associates, including performing code reviews, suggesting best practicesProject Details:The Tax Management team has started a modernization journey to take a whiteboard approach to how our systems work. New systems in the latest technology architectures will be developed to replace our current legacy systems.Team Details: 11 associates (7 mainframe, 4 Java) 4 contractors (2 mainframe, 2 Java) Will be primarily working with the technical Java leader on the teamREQUIREMENTS: Five years of experience in Java software design and development Two years of experience developing web applications utilizing Spring Framework Senior-level expertise in REACT.js REST service development experience Experience with Relational and Document data stores A continuous independent learner, forward-thinking, open to new processes and technologies A team player who takes initiative and delivers results Ability to explain technical issues and their implications for projects and business decisions, facilitate discussion and collaborative resolution of problemsPreferred Qualifications: Experience with Kafka a plus Experience with Mongo a plus Knowledge of Product and Agile methodologies a plus Experience leading small-to-medium sized effortsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
