Project Lead Application Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is looking for Application Software Engineers to come aboard a contract to hire opportunity with one of our top Fortune 25 clients in Saint Louis, MO.Day to day responsibilities: Attend Scrum meeting The Project Lead Application Software Engineer will be performing programming, API, microservice, containerization development Code Review and unit testing Gathering requirements As a Project Lead Application Software Engineer, you will be creating documentation (high level designs, workflow, architectural diagrams, requirements, and other documents as needed)Performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team: Abiding by the Agile development methodology to delivery Incremental development / capabilitiesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering; Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred .NET Framework, .NET Core, Entity Framework, C#, Angular 7, ASP.NET Experience producing or consuming messages from event driven applications such as Apache Kafka Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, asynchronous functions and multi-threaded operations Maintaining, planning, and developing SQL and NoSQL databases Cloud technologies such as AWS Microsoft Office Tools including VizioPreferred Skills/ Experience: Deploying APIs and Web Services to IIS 7 or above and/or Linux Hands on experience in deploying APIs and Web Services to IIS 7 or above Ability to train and mentor team members Proficient in CICD tools such as GITLAB Healthcare experienceKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
