1. Basic assembly and building of air compressor components.

2. Identify serviceable parts during the assembly process.

3. Operation of semi-automatic equipment i.e. lapping.

4. Proper use of power and manual tools.

5. Proper use of calibrated gauges, power and manual torqueing devices.Skills and Competencies

1. Technical Capacity

Proficient in Level I Skills.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.

Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.

Good mechanical skills.

Knowledge of shop use of measuring devices.

4. Time ManagementSupervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment:

The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.Physical Demands
