Nobis Technology a national utility construction company is seeking Trainees to join our fiber optic placement teams in the, DesMoines area. This is a great opportunity to learn a trade while getting paid!

JOB PURPOSE:

Placement of fiber optic cable on poles and in conduit in a demanding, fast paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Physical Labor at aerial utility construction jobsites

Performs daily inspection on equipment for issues and/or deficiencies

Completes inspection paperwork daily and notifies the Foreman of any issues/defects

Assists crew

Adheres to all DOT and OSHA safety requirements

Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Lift 50 pounds

Take direction from foreman and other crew members

Transportation to and from work
