Join the Epic facilities team and you will learn new skills and stretch yourself technically as you work to maintain and improve our 8+ million square foot campus. As part of having a truly Epic job, you will enjoy guaranteed year-round, full-time hours.
Day-to-day, you will be responsible for inspecting, adjusting, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing our highly complex HVAC systems. This includes hot and chilled water plants, large pumping facilities, extensive air distribution systems, and an enhanced geothermal complex. We also maintain multiple commercial kitchens onsite. Our technicians have a fundamental knowledge in refrigeration theory specializing in chillers, pumps, compressors, and cooling towers. You'll read and interpret complex schematics and design drawings daily. Experience with direct digital controls, building automation systems, and variable frequency drives is a plus.

Requirements
-CFC Universal certification
-EPA 608 certification
-Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
-Relocation to Madison, WI area
-COVID-19 vaccination
3+ years of experience with:
-Commercial heat pump systems, air to air, or ground source operation, maintenance, and repair
-Commercial centrifugal and/or screw chillers
-Commercial split systems
-Low pressure steam or hot water heating boilers
-HVAC direct digital controls
-Gas fired heating systems and commercial humidification systems
