NOW HIRING! Multiple Math instructor positions available at Mathnasium of Minnetonka, Eden Prairie and Chanhassen.
Instructors:
We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, passionate, and punctual math instructors to teach our elementary to high school aged students. Strong mathematical competency and a willingness to learn and then teach using the Mathnasium Method™ is a requirement.
Position Description and Responsibilities:
Mathnasium of Minnetonka, Eden Prairie and Chanhassen are seeking qualified part-time mathematics instructors for tutoring children in grades 1 - 12 for our locally owned and operated centers.
The key areas of responsibilities include:
- Tutor students in math subjects up to Algebra; additional pay if you are able to teach up to Pre-Calculus
- Work closely with students to help them achieve their goals
- Communicate student progress with the Center Director
- Learn and utilize the Mathnasium Method to work with students to strengthen their math skills
This is a part-time position, approximately 6 - 16 hours per week, starting at $12+/hour depending on qualification and experience. Instructors must have availability during the following school-year and/or summer hours:
-School Year: Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday - 3:00 to 8:00 PM; Saturday - 10 AM to 2 PM and Sunday - 1 PM to 4 PM
Qualifications and Requirements:
These individuals will possess the following qualifications and requirements:
- Strong math skills; proficient through atleast through Algebra
- Passion for working with kids
- Excellent communication skills
- Superb organization skills
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
- Possess exemplary character and have strong leadership presence
