Dock Truck Driver local (Eagan)

NON CDL NEEDED and or CDL CLASS B DRIVERS NEEDED

Employment type: Full-time or Part time Drivers needed.

26 foot dock trucks

MONDAY-FRIDAY

Looking for Full Time or Part time Drivers needed.

Picking up and delivering goods in and around the Twin Cities area.

Current driver's license, Health Card (will Provide) and Good driving record.

Must pass DOT, Drug test.

Responsibilities:

Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.

Manually load and unload trucks without assistance. Operate lift gate and pallet jack for deliveries.

Maintain records, including logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.

Operate equipment pursuant to company policies and practices such as computers and cellular devices to exchange necessary information with supervisors and other drivers.

Check truck to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.

Reports and assists in the maintenance of the vehicles.

Drive and operate commercial delivery trucks, including maneuvering trucks into tight loading or unloading positions, checking that the vehicle/loading equipment is properly positioned.

Provide courteous, prompt and professional customer service at all times.

Build professional relationships with coworkers, customers, and drivers.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Ability to work 40 hours + per week. full time

- flexible for part timers

Great Communication Skills

Must possess a satisfactory driving record

Ability to complete a company approved DOT physical examination.

Able to Adapt in an Ever Changing Environment

Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull 50 lbs. on a frequent basis

Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 70 lbs. on occasion, in specified areas

Ability to bend, squat, twist, and grasp
