Bona Bros. Body & Paint is looking for a skilled auto body painter or combo technician at our body shop in New Brighton, MN.

We are a high-volume, independent shop started in 1956 with many commercial and fleet accounts.

The ideal candidate will have the experience and skill to prep and paint vehicles of all sizes due to collision damage.

We would expect a qualified applicant to make $100K+.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

-Prepare surfaces for paint by removing rust and other debris and filling in cavities and dents

-Able to evaluate paint issues such as swirls and scratches and to diagnose if painting is required or if a pad/polish combo will remedy the issue

-Can mask, sand, buff, polish, spray and paint vehicles with experience, including the use of color tinting, matching, and blending

-Quality check work to make sure the vehicle looks and functions according to original factory specifications

-Reliable attendance and transportation is required

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Previous auto body painting experience required

-Working knowledge of repairs for damaged body parts and components

-Familiarity with Heavy Duty repairs is a plus (Work trucks, Semi trucks, RVs, Buses)

-Ability to match paint colors and apply paint to OEM standards

-Personal set of tools

-Must have a valid driver's license
