Adult Choir Director (part-time)

First United Methodist Church (1915 Nebraska, Sioux City, Iowa ) is seeking a part-time Adult Choir Director for it’s Jubilate Choir. This position is to enrich our worship through music ministry and will average 4-6 hours per week from the Wednesday after Labor Day until the Sunday before Memorial Day. (The Jubilate Choir does not sing one Sunday per month because the church's handbell choir plays one Sunday per month.) The choir does not meet during the summer (June through August).

The person will direct the 9:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service Jubilate Choir and lead the piano accompanist and volunteer choir members. The Director will also rehearse with the choir once during the week on Wednesday evenings (currently from 7pm - 8pm) and briefly before performances.
