Accountant

The tax staff/senior associate position will be responsible for individual and business tax preparation, tax planning and consulting, accounting and year-end close procedures, research, and all other tax and accounting related duties.

Tasks:

Individual and Business Tax Preparation

Individual and Business Tax Planning and Tax Projections

Accounting and Year-End Close Procedures

Communicate and Respond to IRS and State Tax Notices

Tax Research

Communication with Clients

All Other Tax and Accounting Related Duties

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required

CPA preferred or intent to sit for CPA exam

Ability to follow instructions as directed by team members

Seeks advice of appropriate team members regarding questions, issues, or problems

Ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to work effectively and efficiently on computer and software

Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills

Excellent customer and client service skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

3-5 years experience preferred
