Full-time PositionDetroit, MI (Hybrid Model)Our client is seeking Senior Software Engineers with experience in full stack development. You will be responsible for designing, and developing an Internet of Things (IoT) product. This is a high impact position with an opportunity to work in a number of technologies such as; IoT devices, Collaborative Robotics, React and Python. Work remotely with a potential to travel around 10% to support design and manufacturing efforts with their sister companies

A highly qualified candidate is/does:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in software development, DevOps or software architecture
  • High level proficiency in C, Python, or Node\React
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Bonus qualities that make you a perfect fit:
  • Development experience (e.g. C/C, Python, React.js)
  • SQL Experience (e.g. Postgres or equivalent)
  • MQ experience (e.g. RabbitMQ, Celery)

Other qualities that are a plus:
  • Additional development experience (e.g. Swift, C#, Angular)
  • AWS experience: (S3, Cognito, Lambda)
  • DevOps experience (e.g. Terraform, Docker)
  • Embedded experience (e.g. IoT, Bluetooth\BLE, FreeRTOS, nRF, Zephyr)
  • Experience with Linux, Databases, Shell Scripting, SQL
