RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Packaging Design Engineer in Chesterfield, MI.Benefits: Salary based on experience BCBS - Medical Dental Vision 401k Disability insuranceSummary:As a Packaging Design Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, designing, testing, and implementing (corrugated, foam, chip, wood, or plastic) packaging designs for Anchor Bay Packaging customers.Responsibilities: Packaging Design Engineer will create designs for packaging based on customer's needs Prioritize workload across multiple projects by effectively communicating directly with customers and ABP sales teams As a Packaging Design Engineer, you will partner with the manufacturing team regarding best practices for design manufacturing Visualize 3D solutions to solve problemsREQUIREMENTS: BS in Engineering (Packaging preferred) from an accredited University 1-5 years of experience in packaging and design Basic understanding of manufacturing machine capabilities and limitations Ability to think creativity to work through complex packaging designsTools You Will Use: Artios/Enterprise software - For packaging design Solid Edge/NX - Math data translation and packaging design Microsoft suite: Office, OneDrive, Teams FTP (File Transfer Protocol) knowledge for math data translationKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
