A bit about us:Looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join a growing, polished "Innovations Team" with a reputable Reinsurance company. This team builds everything from the ground-up, works with all brand new technology stacks, and the engineering team has plenty of input on decisions being made by business stakeholders. The Innovations Team is not aligned to a specific product, but rather supports various underwriting and actuarial teams. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Senior Level Business Stakeholders and then design, build, and create demos that will potentially be deployed across the Enterprise. The Lead Software Engineer will be part of an agile team that delivers building highly automated platforms and services that optimizes the developer and operator experience and accelerating the achievement of business objectives.

Job Details

• 5+ years of Full Stack Development experience in Java/Spring, .NET Core, and/or Python - Polyglot preferred
• 3+ years of experience with Microservices Deployments to the cloud
• Strong understanding of CICD pipelines for connecting and deployments, DevSecOps solutions and tools- ex: Jenkins/Maven/git
• Proven experience in multiple domains - cloud, network, storage, servers, containers/Kubernetes, databases, middleware, DevOps, etc.
• A strong aptitude and desire to learn new languages and frameworks
• Proven TDD experience
