Job Responsibilities:

Oversee safety and take responsibility for a crew of 1-4 employees on a daily basis

Maintaining a daily log of work completed

Responsible for performing daily bed maintenance such as:

Selective and corrective pruning

Hedging Bushes

Installing and cultivating mulch

Natural bed edging

Removal of unwanted vegetation

Planting small shrubs, perennials, annuals and other seasonal plants

Other softscape tasks assigned

Operating power equipment (chainsaw, hedge trimmers, bed edger, pole pruner, etc.)

Basic plant identification skills

Professional customer service engagement

Perform best practices to keep assigned vehicle and equipment clean and safe

Qualifications:

Chauffeur’s license with MDOT card or willingness to obtain one prior to employment

Landscape enhancement and leadership experience is required

Experience using common landscape equipment

Attention to detail

Time management skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions

Willingness to work a flexible schedule if needed

Approach each day operating with a high integrity level

Favorable Plus’s:

Horticultural degree or certification

Experience with planting ball and burlap material, removing and replacing small trees and bushes, and other items to enhance customer property

Operating Machinery (mini track loader, skid steer, loader, etc.)

Trailer attachment knowledge

Bi-lingual

Having familiarity with the tri-county area
