SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Coordinate and supervise the activities of the Sales Representatives, Operations Representatives, Support Associates, Information Specialists and Information Desk volunteers on a daily basis in order to ensure the smooth operation of the Museum's Box Office, Information Desk, venues, Special Exhibitions and public areas, as well as the satisfaction of visitor needs. Engage staff in the Museum's OKR and training programs and motivate staff to meet or exceed all service goals. Supervise and manage staff performance as needed. Represent the department, division, and Museum in order to maintain the integrity of the organization and to ensure good will with internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
20,000 - 50,000 guests per week depending on the season.
Up to 15,000 guests per day during school vacation week / holiday periods or special exhibitions.
2,000 - 2,500 school children per day during the school year.
Up to 500 transactions by cashier, by day.
Schedule staff for all positions per day, 363 days per year
Coordinate activities of 15-40 employees (14-20 Volunteers) on a given day
Protect and manage bank of $40,000
Protect and prepare reports on daily receipts of up to $50,000 per day
Schedule includes some weekend and evening work, extended hours during summer, and requires coverage over peak periods including school vacation weeks and holidays.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is regular, full-time, 40 hours/week, with the following schedule:
Monday: 8:15am - 6:15pm
Tuesday: 8:15am - 6:15pm
Friday: 8:15am - 6:15pm
Saturday: 1pm - 11pm
REPORTS TO:
Manager, Visitor Services
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent with additional coursework preferred
3 or more years of Customer service experience
Demonstrated supervisory an/or staff leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop staff in meeting sales or revenue goals.
Demonstrated customer service skills.
Proven communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven math proficiency at a level necessary to reconcile daily sales and identify and correct discrepancies.
STARTING SALARY:
Exempt (Salaried) $50,000 - $52,000/year
