A bit about us:Industry leader in the manufacturing of industrial automation equipment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing team. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer that is passionate about CAD Design.The Mechanical Design Engineer analyzes client application data and does engineering calculations to ensure that the solution meets contract criteria for projects; manages many projects with high content, manages lead times, and high customer satisfaction.We are looking for Mechanical Design Engineers with experience in automation and Robotics.100% Remote for candidates that live on the East Coast of the US.Main tasks and requirements:

• Create required approval, assembly, and detailed parts drawings using AutoCAD
• Create bill of materials, purchase requisitions, and order parts
• Assist with factory acceptance testing (FAT)
• Planning/Scheduling of multiple projects
• Manage the fulfillment process, i.e. engineering (design/drawing) and assembly expeditiously.
• Lead, manage and execute assigned projects according to Group OMS/Quality System

Job DetailsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2011- 2D and 3D, and Microsoft Office
• Experience in Automation and Robotics

Education and experience:

• BS in Engineering preferred, AS or strong related job experience may be considered
• Minimum 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or systems integration company, focused on the supply of industrial automation solutions.
