Why join us?The FT Project Engineer processes customer application information and performs engineering calculations to assure the solution performs to contract requirements for projects; executes multiple projects with high content, expeditious lead times, within budget and with a high level of customer satisfaction.Main tasks and requirements:
  • Evaluate and process customer application information with sales engineers
  • Perform engineering calculations to assure the solution will perform to the contract requirements
  • Create required approval, assembly, and detailed parts drawings using AutoCAD or Design tool
  • Create bill of materials, purchase requisitions, and order parts
  • Assist with factory acceptance testing (FAT)
  • Assist with application review design and costing to assure accuracy
  • Planning/Scheduling of multiple projects
  • Manage the fulfillment process, i.e. engineering (design/drawing) and assembly expeditiously.
  • Customer communication
  • Lead, manage and execute assigned projects according to Group OMS/Quality System

Job DetailsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2011- 2D and 3D or Autodesk Inventor
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Team player, who can work with salesmen, application engineers, project managers, assembly shop personnel, vendors, and customers
  • Ability to solve complex problems and think analytically
  • Multi-tasking, handling several projects/requirements simultaneously
  • Ability to work within budgets and deadlines
Education and experience:
  • BS in Engineering preferred, AS or strong related job experience may be considered
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or systems integration company, focused on the supply of industrial automation solutions.
