Assistant Director of Clinical Services (Youth & Community)-Lynn

Centerboard is excited to grow our leadership team with the opening if an Assistant Director of Clinical Services for our youth and community departments. This position is the highest level of clinical leadership we have at Centerboard and will report to the Director of Youth Services. We looking for someone who approaches residential and community car with a trauma informed lens and can lead the clinical team and youth services division with training and support. This position will work closely with the Assistant Residential Director of Youth Services to ensure safe, effective, evidence-informed service delivery across all programs. We do require an LCSW certification (min 2 years) with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Oversee design and implementation of therapeutic care for participants in youth services programs; ensure that each youth/family receives quality therapeutic care while adhering to federal and state licensing regulations.

Provide direct clinical supervision to some clinical staff and provide informal clinical supervision of all program staff as needed.

Provide clinical and administrative support to Clinicians and Program Directors.

Ensure the survivor-informed, culturally relevant policies and procedures of service delivery are maintained in a trauma-informed and evidenced-based model.

Ensure all requirements of Rehab Options are being managed per the rehab options contract.

Oversee the completion of individualized treatment and discharge plans; provide clinical review of plans as needed.

Ensure program implementation of treatment plans, audit treatment plans as needed to ensure effective service delivery.

Ensure safety plans are developed and updated as required.

Coordinate with clinical team, LICSW to design and implement staff training toward the implementation of a solid clinical treatment program.

Lead clinical staff meetings to discuss residents and support staff, provide direction and guidance around implementation of clinical service plans.

Ensure completion all required clinical documentation in a professional, timely manner

Support programs in times of crisis

Participate in community and other partnership-building opportunities as needed.

Ensure close communication with all state and federal regulatory entities, contract managers, and/or funders to ensure adherence to standards and quality partnerships.

Review program outcomes data at least quarterly and oversee implementation of data-driven changes; share data with stakeholders, including completion of required external and internal reports. (CQI)

Meet monthly with program leadership teams to ensure effective service delivery.

Ensure coordinated, comprehensive clinical care across in-house and community-based programs.

Complete other tasks or job assignments as required.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling and License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) post 2 years certification required. Five years of supervisor experience in a residential setting and the ability to provide feedback, guidance, and creative leadership to direct reports. Required to pass initial competency
