Our client, a large government contractor is in need of a TS/SCI Full Scope Poly Sr. Linux Computer Systems Analyst to work onsite in Linthicum, MD for a 12-month contract engagement. The Sr. Linux Computer Systems Analyst will support our client’s NGRN program which focuses on supporting large enterprise applications for their federal customers. The Systems Analyst will manage and maintain secure operations of Linux Servers. Handle basic AD, LDAP, and DNS concepts. Install COTS Software and perform configuration. Stay proactive with technical research to do presentations and offer recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills- Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of related experience or Master’s degree and 7 years of related experience required.
- Current Security+ CE or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required. Full Scope Poly highly desired
- Experience managing Redhat Linux OS
- Experience configuring, administering, and maintaining patch deployment and management systems.
- Experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and administering computer backup and recovery solutions and providing recovery status reporting to management.
- Experience with system design and architecture.
- Excellent technical document preparation and writing skills.
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework or similar cyber-security, risk-based frameworks.
- Experience with implementing DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
