Systems Architect
Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Systems Architect in Baltimore, MD. The particulars of the opportunity are below:Roles and Responsibilities: Evaluates commercial off the shelf (COTS) and Cloud solutions products, and hardware or services to find best solutions to meet business requirements within budget. Prepares and maintains project documents that include architecture diagrams and models. Explores emerging technologies and makes case for recommended direction. Shares information with team. Reviews and analyzes current technology infrastructure and its ability to support strategic objectives. Translates design requirements to software and hardware programmers, developers and network administrators to successfully implement the design. Supports design inquires and resolves design conflicts during the development effort. Responsible for evaluating and ensuring implementation of design. Guides technical discussions across project teams to resolve design conflicts. Supports project teams to affect solutions for business requirements. Builds proof of concept model to prove complex solutions and provides solutions patterns to developers. Collaborates with Enterprise Architect to ensure micro architecture aligns with Enterprise Architecture.Education and Experience: Five (5+) years experience in business environment, preferably in a large enterprise supporting 8,000+ users. Five (5+) years as a systems architect or senior technical lead Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or any equivalent combination of education and experience Experience writing and documenting technical designs and system documentation (e.g., context diagrams, UML, data flow and network diagrams) Microsoft Technology Specialist Service Management (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Cobit, etc.) Virtual Infrastructure Management or Architecture Technology Sales Certification (desired) Skills Requirements: Demonstrated ability to communicate well with the general public and experience in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with management, vendors, and co-workers Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Knowledgeable about strategic technologies and industry best practices Strong analytical skills Expert Knowledge of Middleware technologies (i.e., MDM, ETL, ESB, SOA and Federation) Deep understanding of MDM methodology Strong understanding of Identity Management methodologies Deep understanding of Microsoft Unified Communications platform Familiar with software development methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Waterfall) Knowledge of Object-Oriented Languages & Concepts (C#, Java, REST, Spring, Hibernate, Design Patterns) Knowledge of Database technology (SQL Server, Oracle) Knowledge of Systems Security technology Knowledge of Business Process Management methodologies Awareness of technology trends and a passion to stay abreast of emerging technologies Advanced professional or theoretical knowledge and fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities Basic understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures Ability to prepare and present information to guests, more senior associates, vendors and management with sufficient notice and preparation Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, ASP.net, HTML.BALTIMORE CITY RESIDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!For Immediate Response call 732-876-7624, or send your resume to RecruiterLS@Trigyn.comTRIGYN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. is an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER and has been in business for 30 years.
