Data Systems Analysts has an immediate opening for a Master Scheduler/Planner that can integrate tightly into a Government team where the individual staff members are all expert in their subject areas. Position requires the analysis of major projects and building and maintaining comprehensive schedules and resource plans that are horizontally and vertically integrated across functional groups and provide a Program Manager with a clear view of critical paths, risks to that path, and resourcing required to deliver and sustain hardware and software to geographically separated locations worldwide. Candidate will monitor program schedule performance, ensure KPIs are met, conduct risk analysis, and identify and recommend resolutions to critical path and resource conflicts before they affect schedule or performance. Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, other project management techniques will be used to gauge progress and identify performance variances to the Program Manager so they can facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas before they affect cost, schedule, or performance. This work is expected to be accomplished from a Ft Meade, MD Government location with potential infrequent local travel. Experience building, refining, and maintaining detailed program-wide schedule , including the integration of and traceability between the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Demonstrated knowledge identifying resources and using that information to add resources, money and personnel, to project schedules Experience identifying resourcing issues and providing the PM with recommended courses of action Participate in the direction and management of complex project schedules requiring an interface with multi divisional activities, independently identifying project resource requirements, and integrating the activities into a single collective overall project plan Experience in the documentation, coordination, validation, approval, reporting, and configuration control of schedule and budget baseline Experience performing Monte Carlo schedule risk analysis and briefs results to leadership and clients Experience providing weekly, monthly, and quarterly oversight of schedule and budget integration briefings and performance analysis to Senior Leaders Provide support for Integrated Baseline Reviews and Program Management Review (PMR) Advanced Scheduling expertise Advanced knowledge of Critical Path Methods (CPM) Experience working with Sub-contractors Expert level skills with MS Project, MS Project Server, or MS Project Professional 2 to 3 years with a bachelors degree or 3-4 years with Associates or Professional Certificate Degree can be replaced with 3+ years of verified experience supporting high value, high visibility DoD acquisition program DSA recognizes that the global spread of COVID-19 is a challenging time for everyone.
