Description Robert Half is looking for an organized, tech-savvy individual to fill the role of Network Administrator at a rapidly-growing firm in the Education - University industry. If you are a motivated problem solver and passionate about establishing and maintaining a stable network infrastructure, you could succeed in this role. You will support the business by developing, administering and maintaining the network infrastructure, making sure that the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available. The software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems you will work with change frequently. Your commitment to ongoing education will be important for staying current and fully informed. This permanent opportunity is for a Network Administrator who will work in the Portland, Maine, area.Major responsibilities- Coordinating and executing upgrades to network software and hardware- Administering the operation of services related to all local area and wide area networks, following company policies and procedures- Troubleshooting and fixing local area networks / wide area network problems, including performance, connectivity and related issues- Applying LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures Requirements - Expertise in network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations- Previous experience with production and on-call environments- 5+ years of related experience- Skilled in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics- VMware experience preferred- Foundational knowledge in LDAP- Cisco Hardware experience- Azure Active Directory experience- O 365 experience highly desired Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
