job summary:Looking for several Business Analysts with risk assessment and vendor systems experience for a four month long contracts with possible extensions or conversion to FTE of our client. This role is for one or our best financial clients with offices in NYC, Southern New Jersey, Southern Maine, Florida and South Carolina. Candidates can work remotely from home but will need to be located on the east coast of the US location: FALMOUTH, Mainejob type: Contractsalary: $45 - 55 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: No Degree Required responsibilities:CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS: Degree/Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree, Finance, procurement or legal bachelor's a bonus Years of experience: 5-7 years Reason for request/why opened: 4000 contractor records need to be reviewed Team Size: 6 people How will performance be measured: getting their work done on time, minimal errors Description: "The Business Analyst III provides analytical and project management support to various corporate and business line strategic initiatives according to established Company procedures and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines. Provides assistance to team members and may assume a lead role within projects Identifies, develops, and maintains key linkages with business partners including the retail product management, retail distribution, commercial banking, support services and North American business partners such as Wealth Management, fixed income trade and Insurance with line of business team members/ resource Resolves issues and problems by conferring with staff, management, other internal departments, outside contacts as necessary Works cross-functionally as required to drive strategic initiatives and improve processes Adds financial value to company by analyzing company data to identify and recommend initiatives that positively and materially impact the financial results of the company Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models. Knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. 5-7 years experience required."
