RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Louisville, KY that is seeking a Problem Manager.Summary:The Problem Manager Engineer drives technical support teams to recover services during periods of service disruption or outages to key technology platforms/applications. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Responsibilities: The Problem Manager Engineer establishes policies, processes and systems for the implementation of a quality incident management process and monitors trends in incidents and issues Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed Follows established guidelines/proceduresREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field or equal experience (3-5 years of IT Service Operations experience). ITIL Certified preferred Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Visio ServiceNow experience highly preferred Experience in problem analysis and process documentation Experience working in cross-functional, collaborative teams Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and Waterfall or Agile Development Methodologies is a plus Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences Able to drive and command time sensitive discussions with executive leadership resulting in high value outcomes Proficient skillset and abilities to not only mine and analyze data but ability to comprehend, create and document a problem record from that analysis and drive problem to resolution via open discussion with the Accountable groupsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
