Job DetailsResponsibilities:
  • Research, design, develop and validate wireless sensing and telematics products
  • Collaborate with Product Management to determine project requirements
  • Work on simultaneous projects with fast development cycles
  • Conduct in-vehicle research ex. vehicle wiring connections or CAN bus message analysis
  • Coordinate with various groups to contribute technically on projects
  • Develop firmware for microcontrollers
  • Conduct board bring-up of prototypes
  • Develop device drivers and board support packages for hardware
  • Build product application firmware
  • Validate product functionality with engineering technicians
  • Create test fixtures
Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Strong experience with developing firmware for microcontrollers in C
  • Experience with ARM Cortex-M MCU firmware development (NXP/Freescale Kinetis, STM32)
  • Serial Protocol and low-level driver experience (I2C, SPI, USB, UART, etc.)
  • Custom board bring-up experience
  • Bare metal firmware development and RTOS experience
  • Debugging skills
Nice to have:
  • FreeRTOS experience
  • Digital Signal Processing of audio
  • CAN bus experience
  • Communication protocols
  • Bluetooth Low Energy
  • WiFi and cellular data communications
