The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in the field of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications, while ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven professional with excellent communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resources, in collaboration with stakeholders. Ensure successful execution of projects, including procurement, subcontractor management, quality control, and safety compliance. 2. Building System Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, to review designs, identify potential issues, and provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. 3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success, including changes in scope, schedule, and budget. Implement contingency plans to minimize risk and ensure project deliverables are achieved. 4. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, team members , and other project stakeholders to establish and maintain effective communication channels. Foster positive relationships, manage expectations, and address concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 5 . Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and complete project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and other project-related documentation. Prepare and present project status updates to senior management and clients as required. 6 . Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Implement and enforce quality control processes and standards to ensure that work meets or exceeds specifications. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on building systems. • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, and their integration with other building components. • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. • Excellent project management skills, including project planning, execution, risk management, and financial management. • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficient in project management software and tools. • Professional certifications, such as PMP or CCM, preferred.
